Kelley Stethen, M.Ed.
Psychometric Associate
Kelley joined the ACS team in 2019 after completing an internship and finishing her M.Ed. in Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment through the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Kelley has a background in K-12 education and taught forensics and NGSS biology at the high school level before relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada to pursue her career in psychometrics. She is currently enrolled in the Assessment and Quantitative Analysis in Education doctoral program at the University of Las Vegas Nevada.
As a contributing member of the ACS team, Kelly provides psychometric services, conducts evaluations, delivers operational support and works in quality assurance. She also reviews multiple-choice items for licensure and certification exams, consolidates SME feedback and document exam changes, and contributes to certification and licensure exam preparation.
As a Las Vegas transplant originally from Kentucky, Kelley usually tries to avoid the heat by staying in and reading or catching up on tv with her husband and their two cats and two dogs (both longhair dachshunds). When she does venture out, it is usually to enjoy the underrated food scene to be found away from the Las Vegas strip. If you do happen to see her in real life, she would love to discuss her Vegas recommendations, her pets, or any tv show that has aired in the last 10 years.
