Heather Misner
Program Manager
Heather Misner previously worked in federal and state public health for 15 years, managing projects related to pandemics and medical interprofessional collaboration. She has led teams responding to Ebola, Zika, and COVID. Heather holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy from New England College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Samford University, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the University of Central Florida. She is a licensed nurse in the state of Alabama. In her spare time, she works in the emergency room and grows food in her garden.
