Call for Participants in a Pilot Test for a New Tailored Educator Credentials (TEC) Assessment! 

Are you or someone you know passionate about teaching Advanced Mathematics or Middle School Science? Interested in shaping the future of educator credentials?  

If your answer is yes, we invite you to apply to the Tailored Educator Credentials (TEC) Assessment Pilot Test! 

Who Can Participate? 

• New teachers and educators 

• Students who are in the last year of their educator preparation programs 

• Teachers certified within the last three years seeking additional endorsements. 

• Individuals pursuing credentials through alternative pathways, including alternative certification and apprenticeships. 

How to Apply? 

• TEC Pilot Test is an online proctored test and limited to 50 participants for each subject. 

• TEC Pilot Test is free, and selected participants will receive a $100 gift card. 

• TEC Pilot Test application is open until October 20, 2025!  

• TEC Pilot Test delivery is on Friday and Saturday, November 7-8, 2025. 

You can apply to take TEC-Advanced Mathematics or TEC-Middle School Science test until Monday, October 20, 2025.
